Pro Tip

Standing on the 3rd tee you find yourself facing towards the sea with the green on the horizon. Take a line for your drive to the right of the two trees. A well hit shot will take you beyond the old wall that crosses the fairway. In high summer with a following breeze the green is driveable from a forward tee so beware the two green-side bunkers that await a long drive. The green slopes away from the sea - a rarity at the East Links.
